On my way to Maui

I had a really great time in the Dessert of Egypt. Even when the wind was super gusty and the water a little cold, the spot Kite Village is still one of my favorites.


I have meet a lot of nice people and I will miss the team.


The temperature back home in Switzerland is a little warmer then the weeks before, around 0° but anyway I stayed the most of the time inside.


One reason is because I was sick....... one day in front of the toilet..... not in Egypt, in Switzerland and that Yesterday, one day before my long way to Maui.
Fortunately after the Studio 54 party :-)

I am in Egypt, 105 Kilometer south of Marsa Alam since the beginning of January. 

The Spot of the Kite Village is perfect. Its a little bit cold right now and I have to wear a 3mm Wetsuit but it could be worse. The wind is not so study like he is used to be in the summertime but we have around 80% of the week wind and a lot of space on the water;  Come an join us.

The Magazine KITE was here to shoot some Moves and I am honored to be one of the riders. I am looking forward to the next issues and the book "Kite College". Thanks for the great time with Gerd and Michi. It was a little cold to go out with the Shorty but "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" :-)


Finally, the PKRA Worldtour plan is out and the first Stop will be in France in April. That means that I still have time to train.

Back home in cold Switzerland

Time for mo to fly home. The snow arrived almost at the same time as I did :-) It is so beautiful back home at my Parents place. My UGGs keep my feeds warm and my roxy Down Jacket the rest. Forgot how good the feeling is to be outside and its cold :-)

I have a few appointments during the next Days and lucky me, I am  booked for a payed Photo Shoot for one Day and I am going to meet a new Sponsor, stoked to tell you soon more about it.............   Manu

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2012

In Taiba at the moment and its still super windy, I am always with my 5 or 7 Nirvana. But I am ready to leave Brazil (6 days left) to fly back home to see Friends and Family for Christmas and New Year.
